Mr. Alexander is one of the founding principals of Macadam Capital Partners. He has twenty-four years of corporate finance and operating management experience. He began is business career after obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Finance from the University of Oregon in 1981.
Prior to the founding of Macadam Capital in 1993, Mr. Alexander served in a variety of capacities with Chemical Banking Corporation/MHT (Group Executive in the Utility Industry), The Bank of California (Vice President & Manager/Corporate Banking), and Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (Credit Administration). While at these companies, Mr. Alexander successfully negotiated, structured and closed a wide range of transactions involving more than $6.5 billion of debt, equity, and mergers and acquisition transactions for corporate clients.
At Macadam Capital, Mr. Alexander has successfully closed numerous transactions for client companies and private equity groups in a variety of industries. These engagements included complex corporate restructurings, senior and subordinated debt placements, preferred and common equity placements, asset securitizations, merger and acquisition transactions, advisory services to Companies evaluating the public capital markets and active management of troubled business situations. Every engagement has focused on strategic capital planning and value realization strategies. Mr. Alexander also on occasion provides expert witness testimony focusing on complex corporate finance litigation.
Mr. Alexander currently sits on the board of directors of Silver Eagle Manufacturing Company, Hatcher Family Wineworks, Merchandising Technologies, Inc., Young’s/Columbia LLC, and is an advisory member of the board to Columbia Distributing Company. He is involved in various community service activities including Classic Wines Auction and Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. He is a member of Waverley Country Club, Multnomah Athletic Club and University Club, and is married with two children.

Mr. Rice began his business career after obtaining Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance and Marketing from the University of Oregon in 1990. Prior to joining Macadam Capital Partners, Mr. Rice spent seven years as a Vice President in the Corporate Banking Division of U.S. Bank. While at U.S. Bank, he negotiated, structured and closed hundreds of commercial lending transactions in a variety of industries. In particular, Mr. Rice’s experience included working with distressed and underperforming businesses; structuring and leading syndicated senior debt transactions including asset-based lending, highly-leveraged transactions, management buy-outs and business acquisitions/expansions.
Since joining Macadam Capital in 1998, Mr. Rice's engagements have included corporate restructurings, senior and subordinated debt placements, equity placements, merger and acquisition transactions, profit and performance improvement plans, and active management of under-performing businesses including an engagement where he was named the interim Chief Financial Officer of a financially troubled company. He has worked with companies ranging from heavy manufacturing to service providers; operating in a wide variety of industry sectors of the economy.
Mr. Rice earned a Masters of Business Administration degree from Portland State University in 2000. He has been involved in various community services activities, currently including educational and youth related causes. He is a member of the Multnomah Athletic Club and is married with two children.

At Macadam Capital, Mr. Rech's engagements have included the development of strategic business plans, profit and performance improvement plans, capitalization strategies, the closing of senior debt, subordinated debt and equity transactions, the financial structuring and negotiation of joint ventures, contracts and shareholder agreements, and the sales and mergers of assets and operations. He has worked with companies ranging from heavy manufacturing to distribution; operating in a wide variety of industry sectors of the economy.
Prior to the formation of Macadam, Mr. Rech spent five years with Exxon, five years with Marriott, two years with Mercury Savings and Loan, and six years with Red Lion Hotels and Inns. While at these companies, Mr. Rech's experience covered a wide range of management responsibilities with a focus on acquisition programs and the raising of capital from public and private debt and equity sources, including commercial, investment and merchant bankers, insurance companies, and pension funds. In the course of these transactions, Mr. Rech spearheaded the efforts of finance, treasury, accounting, tax, and legal departments. In various capacities, he has had responsibility for strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, risk management, benefits and insurance administration, and investor relations.
Mr. Rech began his business career after obtaining a Masters of Business Administration degree with distinction from Harvard University in 1975, which followed four years as an officer in the United States Naval Supply Corps, and an undergraduate Engineering degree from Northwestern University in 1969.

Mr. Durrett is one of the founding principals of Macadam Capital Partners. He has thirty-three years of corporate finance and operating management experience. Mr. Durrett began his business career after obtaining a Masters of Business Administration degree from Harvard University in 1973, which followed four years of chemical engineering consulting and a Bachelor of Science degree with distinction from the University of Kansas in 1970.
At Macadam Capital, Mr. Durrett has successfully closed numerous transactions for client companies in a variety of industries. These engagements included senior and subordinated debt placements, preferred and common equity placements, merger and acquisition transactions (including management buy-outs), and advisory services and active management associated with troubled business situations.
Prior to the formation of Macadam in 1993, Mr. Durrett served in investment and commercial banking capacities with B.C. Christopher & Co., The First National Bank of Chicago, The Bank of California and Far West Federal Bank. At those institutions, he structured, negotiated and closed over 60 transactions involving the acquisition, sale or merger of companies or divisions for corporate clients. He has held varying operational and managerial responsibilities within the financial services industry, including line functions ranging from marketing to profit and loss responsibility for separate business units, and staff management functions including human resources, legal and administrative and quality control.
Mr. Durrett currently sits on the board of directors of Kuni Automotive, Inc., HPK, LLC, Safeworks, LLC, Hatcher Family Wineworks and is an advisory member of the board to Paccess, L.P. He has been active in numerous community service activities, currently including board membership of Habitat for Humanity in Portland. He is a member of Waverley Country Club and is married with three children.
